There's a certain economy to my work. I rarely throw anything away, choosing rather to try and fit all the offcuts into some new work. Household waste can be worked directly into work and things found in skips.Things that are to hand around the house or my work area come into play as materials, tools, media, surfaces and so on. This use of what is to hand is known as BRICOLAGE.
The NEBULA series [2012-2015] arises out of  cooking by-products, fat, oils, crumbs,
frequently coloured with printer inks and shot at hi resolutions with a macro lens.
